Big NEWS . But don't trust it. This just puts Rove more out of reach. I think he'll continue to pull the strings.
I mean, re-read this bit from the linked article:
"Even as he discussed his departure, Rove remained characteristically sunny. This quality of unrelenting optimism about the president, which matches Bush's own upbeat, never-admit-disappointment nature, has at times gotten Rove into trouble. "
They're flat out calling Rove "the president". I don't know what kind of slip that is, but I think you get my drift.
